we're a small app studio. we build software for individuals and small businesses — the kind of tools that do one thing, don't nag you, and don't need a twelve-person rollout plan.
if it needs a tour, we built the wrong thing. every app does one job and gets out of the way.
version one goes out early and slightly rough. then we sand it for as long as people keep using it.
cancelling takes one click. your data is yours, exportable, and boring to us. we make money the old way — you pay, we build.
we stay small so we can say no. fewer meetings, fewer roadmaps, more finished software.
np.lol is a workshop for small software. we pick problems we've personally been annoyed by, build the smallest thing that fixes them, and put it out under its own name with its own colour.
the name is the whole philosophy: np for no problem — calm, capable, handled — and .lol because software that can't laugh at itself tends to be exhausting.
when we're not shipping our own apps, we build them for other people. usually one client at a time, start to finish.
we work in the open — half-finished things get posted before they're good.
tell us what's annoying you. if it's a fit we'll say so in a day, and if it isn't we'll tell you who to ask instead.
